 Horse Riding
This is fantastic way to experience some of the most stunning scenery, history and wildlife in this area of outstanding naturel beauty.
Our horses are pure bred Austrian Halflingers, which are recognised as the very best trekking ponies. They are well cared for, calm and safe. They are perfect for first time riders but also exciting enough for our more experienced guests.
Our tours are a wonderful sight seeing ride over mountain paths, through forests, over sand dunes like a scena from Lawrence of Arabia, and along Patara’s 18km sandy beach. We also ride through the ancient Lycean City of Patara, where our itinerary includes an informative tour of the more sinificant ruins.
This area has abundant wildlife and flora. Watch out for eagles taking their prey and flying up towards you from the valley below ! Spot dolphins in the sea as you ride in the surf toward the setting sun.
Use of riding helmets, refreshments and insurance are included. Don’t forget sun cream, camera and spare film !
