The region of Kekova gets its name from island opposite Kalekoy. It is just ten minutes offshore by boat. Boats dock at the Island in Tersane Bay . Stairs lead down from the shore to the Sunken City which is visible under the clear water. Diving is no longer permitted since the area became a protected national park.
This tour is a full day tour. The boat leaves Kalkan Harbour at 09:30 First we take a relaxing sail by Gulet along
the beautful coast between Kalkan & Kekova taking approximately 4 hours . We then sail over the Sunken City to
view the water & partially submerged villas on the coast. View the Medieval Castle at Kale Koy before sailing to
Andriake to depart from the boat & drive to Myra to see the rock tombs & the church of St. Nicholasknown to us
all as Santa Claus. A light breakfast is served; a lunch of grilled meat & salad with fruits; afternoon tea &
coffee; all provided on the boat.In the evening return by mini-bus to Kalkan.
