Kalkan Boat Trips
Two boats depart Kalkan Harbour daily at 10:30: the 70-guest traditional wooden gulet Sea Bella, and the 40-guest modern motor yacht Falcon. Same route, same swim stops — Mouse Island, Aquarium Bay, Gerenlik Beach, and Firnaz Bay. Lunch is cooked on board and included in the price. We've been running these trips from the same harbour since 1998.

Sea Bella vs Falcon
Two boats, same route, same bays. Sea Bella is a wooden gulet, 70 guests, 6-metre diving platform — the highest in Kalkan. Falcon is a motor yacht, 40 guests, with WiFi. Snorkel gear is not provided on shared trips for hygiene reasons; bring your own. Private hire includes snorkel equipment.
Our Boats
Sea Bella is one of the most recognisable boats in Kalkan Harbour. She's a fully wooden, traditional gulet. Capacity is 70 — among the largest shared boats in the area. The six-metre diving platform is the highest in Kalkan. The deck has both shade and full-sun areas. Lunch is cooked on board. Snorkel gear is not provided on shared trips for hygiene reasons; bring your own.Read More
Falcon is the same size as Sea Bella (25 metres), but a modern motor yacht instead of a wooden gulet. The difference is in capacity: while Sea Bella welcomes 70 guests, Falcon is limited to just 40 — offering a more boutique, premium experience. More personal space on deck, a quieter atmosphere, and a less crowded day on the water. Complimentary WiFi on board. Same route, same bays. Ideal for couples, families, or anyone who prefers a more refined, uncrowded cruise.Read More

Discover Kalkan's Bays
This boat trip has run almost unchanged since 1998 — because it works. You leave Kalkan Harbour at 10:30, stop at four different bays, eat lunch on board, and return by 17:00. Two 25-metre boats to choose from: Sea Bella, a traditional wooden gulet with space for 70 guests; and Falcon — same size, but a modern motor yacht limited to 40 guests for a more exclusive, uncrowded experience. Falcon also offers complimentary WiFi. Both visit the same bays. The route adjusts for weather but the stops don't change.
Quick Facts
Why Choose Our Boat Trips?
Itinerary
The Kalkan boat trip lasts approximately 6.5 hours. Here is a typical day's schedule (minor adjustments may occur depending on weather and sea conditions):
Morning — Departure & First Bays (10:15–13:00)
Meet at Kalkan Harbour
The boat is moored in the harbour. Arrive 15 minutes before departure. Kalkan is compact — most guests walk from their hotel or villa. Once on board, pick your spot: shade or sun, forward or aft.
Departure, Cruise to Mouse Island
The engine starts and you leave the harbour. As you exit Kalkan Bay, you'll see the foothills of the Taurus Mountains dropping into the sea on your right, and the rocky headland of the Lycian coast on your left. The first stop takes about 25 minutes.
Mouse Island (Snake Island / Camel Stone), First Swim Stop
The water around the island stays cool even in summer because it's exposed. The captain anchors on the sheltered side. You can jump in or use the ladder. As the first stop, you usually get 30–40 minutes here. Local fishermen have given this island three different names over the years.
Aquarium Bay, Snorkelling
The name is literal — the water is clear enough to see rocks 5–6 metres down. Small schools of fish gather under the boat. If you brought snorkel gear, this is where you'll use it most. Good for underwater photos.
Afternoon — Lunch & Return (13:00–17:00)
Lunch on Board
The crew heads to the galley. Lunch is typically grilled chicken or köfte, rice, pasta, seasonal salad, and bread. Vegetarian guests get a vegetable dish. You eat on deck with the bay as your view. Let us know about dietary needs when you book.
Gerenlik Beach, Mud Bath
This stop is different — it's more about the mud than the swim. The captain brings the boat close to shore. Grey clay from the seabed is applied to your skin, left to dry, then washed off in the sea. Masks are free; the crew shows you where to dig.
Firnaz Bay, Final Swim Stop
Last stop before heading back. The bay is sheltered so the water is usually flat. Sea Bella's 6-metre diving platform gets the most use here. If you'd rather stay dry, the deck is fine for sunbathing. The boat leaves at 16:15.
Return Cruise to Kalkan
On the way back, the sun starts dropping towards Kaş in the west. The afternoon wind usually dies down, so the sea is calm. The return takes about 40–45 minutes.
Arrive at Kalkan Harbour
The boat docks. End of the day. You're a short walk from Kalkan's rooftop restaurants for dinner.
